Default content in ContentPlaceHolder is not replaced when it contains <%= %> tags

I think I've found a bug in ASP.NET Master Pages - if you try to include any <%= %> tags in a ContentPlaceHolder control on a Master Page, then it doesn't get overidden by the content in the Content control.

Good news, I just heard today that this has been fixed.

No details on where exactly it has been fixed in, but hopefully it is at least in the 'Orcas' build, if not for a service pack for 2.0.

i just came accross this bug too! amazing that it got through testing.

Cheers for the note. I simply put my default content inside a usercontrol to get around the problem.
